Fast forward to today, Govantes has leveled up! They have recently expanded their restaurant, introducing an air-conditioned extension and longer hours to accommodate more guests. Coffee Lovers’ Haven
If you’re a coffee enthusiast, Govantes will delight your taste buds with local gems. We tried their Ylocos Coffee, featuring two favorites: Spanish Latte and Caramel Macchiato, priced at just ₱150 each. The coffee is simple but exceptional—no fancy beans or gimmicks, just a solid, well-balanced pull of coffee. Perfect for those who appreciate a good brew without the frills!

Tasty Starters: Chicken Karaage
For starters, we ordered the Chicken Karaage, a dish that left us impressed. The breading was light and crispy—not thick or overwhelming—and the chicken was cooked to perfection. The accompanying sauce was flavorful and served in just the right amount to complement the dish. It’s a must-try for fans of fried chicken!

Pasta Favorite: Revisited and Improved
During this visit, I couldn’t resist ordering their Pasta KBL—a dish I had been missing since our first visit three years ago. Compared to before, it was noticeably better! The pasta was flavorful and well-balanced without being overly salty like it had been previously. The improvement was clear and greatly appreciated.

Binalot Bundle: A New Addition to Their Menu
Govantes has introduced a new menu item—the Binalot Bundle. We opted for the Pata Humba, and it was absolutely delicious. The pork was tender and soft, with a perfect balance of savory goodness. The bundle is priced at ₱220 and includes soft drinks and a graham dessert. Talk about great value!
