Nabe Unlimited Japanese Hotpot - SM City Laoag: A Premium Hotpot Experience

By nickahtolentino - Sunday, June 22, 2025

Laoag City just got a major upgrade with the opening of Nabe Unlimited Japanese Hotpot at SM City Laoag! Finally, a good and premium hotpot experience is here—and I can confidently say, this might be one of the first of its kind in the city.

For hotpot lovers and foodies alike, Nabe offers more than just a meal; it brings people together. True to its name, which comes from the Japanese word “nabe” (meaning “pot”), it embodies the tradition of family gatherings around a warm, hearty hotpot on every special occasion. This shared experience is exactly what Nabe envisions for its guests, creating not just food, but moments worth savoring.

Pricing
  • Weekdays (Monday–Thursday): ₱588
  • Weekends (Friday–Sunday): ₱688

Optional Upgrade:
For just ₱288, you can level up your dining experience with unlimited maki rolls, crispy chicken karaage, fresh tempura, and more. Trust me, it’s super sulit!

How Nabe Works

Step 1: Choose Your Soup Base
Start your hotpot journey by selecting a soup base that suits your taste. On our visit, I was excited to try their Laksa, but sadly it wasn’t available that day. Instead, we went with Shoyu and Sze Chuan, and wow—they were absolutely delicious! The Shoyu had a rich and flavorful taste, while the Sze Chuan brought that spicy kick I was craving.

Is It Worth It?
Without a doubt, Nabe delivers a premium dining experience that sets it apart from other hotpot places. From the freshest ingredients to the flavorful broths and the optional menu upgrades, this Japanese hotpot is perfect for group gatherings, family dinners, or even intimate dates.

The highlight of my Nabe experience was the unlimited side dishes upgrade—maki rolls, chicken karaage, tempura, and more. For just ₱288 extra per person, these additions made our meal even more indulgent. Super sulit for the amount and quality of food you get!

Final Thoughts
If you’re in Laoag City and looking for a hotpot experience that combines quality, value, and tradition, you have to try Nabe Unlimited Japanese Hotpot at SM City Laoag. Whether you’re new to hotpot dining or a seasoned fan, this place promises delicious flavors, cozy vibes, and a chance to gather around the pot—just like in Japanese tradition.

So, grab your friends and family, bring your appetite, and experience Nabe for yourself. Don’t forget to customize your soup base and go all-in with the upgrade (you won’t regret it!).

Until next time, happy eating!
