Just had a MERRY afterMOOn rewardin’ myself with Merry Moo’s newest (n)ice cream flavors na winner na winner sa weather na itey!

Had a taste of their 4 recently developed frozen treats: bananarama, doughnut, yogurt and Spanish bread - yuuup, you read that right and it’s all so divine, like totes so head on over to the corner market at the podium and gobble up all the possible # of scoops that you can wolf down ‘til your heart’s contented.

Basic Yogurt Ice Cream

Doughnut Ice Cream. Personally, I love the doughnut ‘coz it reminds me of my faaave original glazed, deep-fried, sugary soft doughnut.

how the doughnut and the Spanish bread ice cream were made is that they blitz the bread and the dough, soak it w/ the ice cream base overnight, add in some chunks of these bread before churnin’ it. the overnight process is amazing because the flavor seeps in that milk base and that makes you savor each spoonful of goodness in merry moo’s ice cream.

For the bananarama, they roast the cavendish w/ brown sugar (to give a lingering robust flavor once it hits your palate), then soak ‘em again in the ice cream base. they add in choc chips and cookies chunks for that texture. while for the yogurt, w/c was surprisingly tartly goooood, they use greek yogurt w/ more portions of cream to make it richer but not compromising the taste of what we’re used to when one says yogurt.

Have these in a cup or if you’re into saving mother nature, get it in a waffle cone or cup, then sprinkle in some cocoa powder, rainbow sprinkles, buttered pecan or cornflakes for a textured bite and added umph to fight off this season’s heat.
